'My Husband Watches Porn Movies With Our Little Children' - Woman Asks For Divorce

A family man was dragged by his wife before an Ejigbo Customary Court for watching pornographic movies with their little children, Lagos State, western Nigeria. A mother of three alleged that she repeatedly caught her 50-year-old spouse, Obiorah Onwutalu, watching films for adults with their daughter and two sons, aged 14, 13 and 9 years old respectively. The woman asked the court for divorce as her husband is an awful man who not only systematically perverts the kids with X-movies but also tried to poison them with bad food and humilated them by forcing to use soap to brush their teeth. She also complained for having no ability to contact her family, particularly mother who died recently, as she was taken from Anambra to Lagos State after wedding. First she tried to deal with the abusive husband on her own, she destroyed all the porn movies but the next day there were new ones. Then she went to the police at Ejigbo division but judicial proceedings did not take place. In his own defense Obiorah claimed that porn films were bought 15 year ago when the couple first got married, as they watched them together. He denied all the allegations, saying that he did not know that children was watching films until his wife told him about it. Though the man accused his wife of lying, but expressed his willingness to make peace with her as he was always a сaring father and loving husband. The matter is adjourned till 4 June for judgment.
