A bomb has exploded at the busy Monday Market in
Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State. Eyewitnesses told
SaharaReporters that the bomb went off during a busy
morning at vicinity of the market.
The number of casualties
could not be immediately verified as security agencies arrive
the scene to secure the market.
A Borno government state government official confirmed the
blast saying the causality number is very high but stated
that security agencies are working to secure the area and
rescue victims.
