Crazy: Man Almost Killed His Girlfriend After Dreaming She Cheated on Him

A 27 year old Florida Keys man is currently behind bars after he allegedly spent the whole of Friday beating his girlfriend up, all because he had a dream that she had cheated on him.

Carlos Gascon's girlfriend told cops that her boyfriend woke up that day already mad at her. He then went on to brutally assault her, beat and cut the back of her leg with a knife, poured hot coffee on her, choked her, threatening to kill the woman throughout that day at her home. At a point, Carlos picked her up and slammed her down on a glass table, which shattered on impact.

Gascon also picked up his dog and slammed it into the ground before choking it with his foot.

The woman was finally able to call for help about 6:45pm, once he passed out in the house. Gascon is being held on $265,000 bail at the Monroe Cunty Jail on a slew of aggravated assault and battery charges, plus false imprisonment and animal cruelty.
