India starts RICE bucket challenge to fight hunger

A couple of days back, I brought you the gist of a new challenge called the rubble bucket challenge in Gaza, which was inspired by the viral ice bucket challenge.

Now we've got a newly inspired challenge in India, tagged "the RICE bucket challenge". The purpose of the challenge is
to fight hunger in poor neighbourhoods, not a disease.

In this case, the challenge involves giving a bucket of rice to someone in need and taking a picture of the gesture to share online with the hashtag #RiceBucketChallenge.

This Indian version was started by 38-year-old journalist – Manju Latha Kalanidhi – in the southern city of Hyderabad, who felt the ice bucket challenge was “a little bizarre.”

*smiles* what challenge can we start in Nigeria o...?
