“If you know where we are, please bomb us” – Tired ISIS sex slave begs U.S
A young Yazidi woman forced into sex slavery by Islamic State militants reportedly begged the West to bomb the brothel where she was being held in order to end her suffering.
An activist group said the unidentified woman had contacted Kurdish peshmerga fighters by telephone to plead for the brothel to be bombed. She is understood to have been kept as a prisoner somewhere in western Iraq after being captured by militants during the Sinjar massacre in early August, The Daily Mail reported.
A man known only as Karam told the BBC that it was his friend who took the phone call.
“If you know where we are please bomb us,” the woman allegedly said. “There is no life after this. I’m going to kill myself anyway — others have killed themselves this morning. I’ve been raped 30 times and it’s not even lunchtime. I can’t go to the toilet. Please bomb us.”
According to Daily Mail's report, A group of Kurdish activists to which
Karam belongs has been staging protests in central London to raise awareness of brutality Yazidis face at the hands of the Islamic State. They recently held a mock-slave auction where niqab-wearing women in chains were sold off to the highest bidder.
Researchers have found that as many as 7,000 women are being held in makeshift detention centers, where they are either taken away and sold into slavery or handed over to jihadists as concubines, The Daily Mail reported.
