A 29 year old man stocked in the web of two women fighting for his love got himself arrested after he tried to get away from the bickering women.
The Chinese love victim, simply identified as 'Long' was so desperate to escape the constant fighting between his girlfriend and his former wife that he robbed a store to get himself arrested and jailed.
According to the Police, the desperate man held up a shoe store and a restaurant and walked away with 600 yuan (about $98). He reportedly warned the employees that he would destroy the restaurant if the police were not called. He then went outside to
wait for the police.
When officers arrived at the restaurant they found Long screaming: “I’m here, come get me.”
Police said that Long divorced his former wife last month, because of the tensions between her and his mother. Long explained that his problems intensified after he entered into a new relationship with his girlfriend.
Long, who was fed up with the fighting, admitted to carrying out robberies to get some peace and quiet in prison.
“I guess it’s a crime of passion, but his motive is so ridiculous,” a police spokesperson said.
