A Chinese man suffering from erectile dysfunction felt it was a good idea to insert an iron rod into his private part in other to impress his new girlfriend.
52-year-old Kang Niu of Hengyang reportedly tried to improve his sexual performance by inserting the rod into his private parts. However, he almost died when the rod went into his bladder while sleeping with his girlfriend. Niu was rushed to a hospital, where doctors removed the 13-inch rod from his private parts.
Niu told doctors that he took the unusual step after having trouble
keeping a girlfriend.
A spokesperson for the hospital said that the patient erroneously believed that the iron rod will help his erectile dysfunction problem.
The man lived with extreme pain for several months, believing that he will eventually be able to remove the rod by himself.
