Ebola Survivor Still Carries The Virus - India Confirms

According to released information by Indian health agencies, one 26 year old man who travelled to New Delhi from Liberia on 10th of November tested positive for ebola virus after the Ebola Survivor's sperm was tested.

He was said to have been released from the hospital on 30th September with documents saying he was free of Ebola after being hospitalised for two months.


However on his arrival to India, The health ministry decided to run tests on him, to further make sure of his health state.

The statement from India’s health ministry reads....

“Currently, this person is not having any symptoms of the disease. However, he would be kept under isolation in the special health facility
of (the) Delhi Airport Health Organization, till such time his body fluids test negative and he is found medically fit to be discharged”.

Ebola virus has been claimed present in the sperm of survivors of the virus by India's health ministry.
