The bizarre charge was filed in family court, where the wife of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, asked a judge to dissolve her marriage.
The woman told the judge that she is a victim of domestic violence because
her husband refused to take her out on dates and eat with her at fast food restaurants such as McDonald’s.
The husband has denied his wife’s allegations of domestic violence. The couple has been married for several years.
In the main time, the judge has rejected the woman’s grounds for divorce, and ordered the couple to resolve their differences and visit a marriage counselor.
