Seun Kuti Happy Beyonce Did Not Release Fela Inspired Album

Years ago Beyonce came out to say she was strongly inspired by Fela. Her husband Jay Z and Will Smith executive produced the award winning Broadway play Fela.

Beyonce's producer, The Dream revealed she recorded approximately 20 songs influenced by the
sound of the late Afro-beat legend, Fela. "We did a whole different sounding thing, about twenty songs. She said she wanted to do something that sounds like Fela" said the producer.

In a Facebook post made today 26th March, musician and son to the Afro-beat legend, Seun Kuti  expressed his happiness that Beyonce's Afrobeat album never got released. 

He wrote in a Facebook post of the Beyonce story "Thanks to the ancestors that didn't happen".
