A 50-year-old nurse, Vera Maresova who worked with a hospital in Rumburk over a period of four years, has been arrested after allegedly killing several patients in order to ease her workload.
Maresova who was initially arrested after the death of a 70-year-old woman who died from potassium poisoning has now admitted to killing five more patients over a 4 year period.
According to reports, all victims were seniors who needed intensive treatment. The woman killed
them because she wanted to make her life easier by having less patients to take care of during her shift.
Police investigation revealed, Maresova injected potassium directly into the bloodstream of the patients who were all in the intensive care unit of the hospital.
