A Gutu man, was recently arrested in Zimbabwe after beating his wife for allegedly demanding for too much sex!
The 29-year-old man, Givemore Makonye of Masunda Village, told the police that he was unable to keep up with his wife’s desire for sex, as she made persistent sexual advances in bed, but he was too
tired.
Makonye who appeared before Magistrate Edwin Marecha for assaulting his wife, Varaidzo Chiro, confessed that he beat his wife with his hands and stomped on her with his feet after she kept asking for sex. Chiro was badly bruised, and the left side of her forehead was swollen due to the assault.
Makonye has however been sentenced to 30 days in jail with an option of a of $100 fine.
