the album, ‘Compton, A Soundtrack by Dr Dre’, would be his ‘grand finale’.
And Dre said his new album, his first since 1999’s critically acclaimed ‘2001’, was inspired by the upcoming biopic ‘Straight Outta Compton’, which chronicles the struggles of the N.W.A, the group Dre co-founded and which was one of pioneers of the art form that is hip hop.
“I felt myself being so inspired by the movie that I started to record an album,” Dr Dre said during his

And the man who brought us Eminem and 50 Cent announced that the former, his greatest creation after Beats, would appear on the album. Other iconic acts to make appearances include Kendrick Lamar, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg and Xzibit.
