So the minority PDP senators walked out. Amaechi has however been confirmed.

PDP Senators Storm Out Of The Senate As Amaechi Gets Confirmed As Minister
After arguing that a nominee who has a corruption case in court should not be confirmed,the majority made up of APC senators have voted in favour of his nomination.
So the minority PDP senators walked out. Amaechi has however been confirmed.
