Founder of Facebook and multi billionaire, Mark Zuckerberg has decided to take on a new challenge for the New Year.
Guess what! His plan, this time, is to build Jarvis from ‘Iron Man’. Oops! Yet to see the movie. ‘Iron Man’? Well, Jarvis is billionaire Tony Stark’s AI personal assistant, who in the billionaire’s own words, “run most of this business besides anyone but Pepper (his partner and company CEO)”
Zuckerberg’s challenge for the year is to build something like that, akin to iPhone’s Siri but on a
much grander scale. He made the announcement in a post on Facebook.
He said he plans to do this as a personal challenge, and would update fans on how it is going throughout the year. Some of the functions he plans for the AI includes teaching it to recognise his voice and control everything in his house, from lights, music and temperature.
“I’ll teach it to let friends in by looking at their faces when they ring the doorbell. I’ll teach it to let me know if anything is going on in Max’s room that I need to check on when I’m not with her. On the work side, it’ll help me visualize data in VR to help me build better services and lead my organizations more effectively.” he theorised.
