Kendall Jenner Sues Skin Treatment Company For $10m

A skin treatment company, Cutera, used the likeness of Kendall Jenner to promote one of
their products without her express permission. Worse, they implied she had used their product to get rid of her acne, when she never had any such deal with them.

According to TMZ, Kendall is thus suing the company for $10m. The lawsuit notes the impact using her image must have had on their product, and thus calls for her to be paid for the ad, as well as a portion of profits from the product. Kylie is looking for at least ten million dollars.

TMZ quotes Kendall’s lawyer, Todd Wilson, as saying:

“The right to associate Kendall Jenner’s name and likeness in connection with a product or service belongs solely to Kendall Jenner and is protected by Federal and State law. Today’s lawsuit by Ms. Jenner against Cutera, Inc., for the unauthorized use of Ms. Jenner’s name and likeness to promote its product should serve notice that Ms. Jenner will vigorously defend her rights under the law.”

The lawsuit lists all of Kendall’s accomplishments in her young career, which is what makes her so eligible for this huge sum, they argue.
