BREAKING: Lagos Permanently Cancels Restriction Of Movement On Sanitation Days

The Lagos state government has canceled the “restriction of movement order” during environmental sanitation days in the state.

This was recently disclosed in a statement by the state commissioner for environment, Babatunde Adejare, who stated that the state cannot afford to shut down a mega city like Lagos for a period of three hours.

According to the statement, the State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode prefers the environmental sanitation to be a daily exercise to being a monthly exercise. He wants residents to make it way of life and vowed to shut down markets violating the state’s environmental laws in seven days.
