Adele Is officially UK’s Richest Female Singer Ever

Adele continues a good year, as a new survey of the richest singers in the UK and Ireland places her as the Island’s richest ever female singer.


Adele finished 30th on the Sunday Times Rich List, making her as the second female singer on
the list, with an estimated fortune of £85m . The only female to finish ahead of her was Enya, the Irish singer.

Adele’s position therefore leaves her as the richest ever British female musician, at the tender age of 29. That also means for the fifth year running, she finished top of the Young People Rich List.

Top of the overall list was Sir Paul McCartney, the former member of the Beatles, with an estimated value of £760m. Other names of the list includes Sir Elton John, Ringo Starr, and the Rolling Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger.
