Empire: Lawsuit Against Hit TV Series Thrown Out Of Court

One of the many lawsuits against hit TV show, Empire which claims that show creator Lee Daniels stole the idea from a plaintiff has been unceremoniously thrown out of court.

The judge who presided over the case threw out Jon Astor-White’s lawsuit, which pointed to
some similarities between the plot of Fox’s hit show and an idea he claims he shipped to some Hollywood bigwigs some time back.

The judge said there was no evidence he met any of the bigwigs on the show, and ripped out the alleged similarities he pointed to.

Astor-White’s lawsuit is one of many against the brains behind the hit fox show, all of which allege the idea was stolen from them.
