Man Bites Off, Swallows Wife's Nose Because She Didn't Pick His Calls

A woman has been severely injured after her husband bit off her nose and swallowed it.

According to statements from the police, the unidentified man in China, bit the nose of his wife and swallowed it because she did not answer his phone calls.

The woman who lives in Dezhou, told investigators that her husband called in the early hours of
the morning after she finished her night shift, but she could not pick up his calls because she was too tired.

The man confronted his wife in their home the next day, and the two got into a heated argument.

In the heat of the argument, the husband grabbed his wife, pulled her close to him, clenched his teeth on her nose and ripped it off.

The woman was immediately rushed to a hospital, where doctors discovered that her nose was completely gone. When asked if she managed to save the missing nose so they can reattach it, she told surgeons that her husband swallowed it.

Police are currently looking for her husband who is currently at large.
