Mischievous Man Deletes Company's Website & Documents After He Was Sacked
A man who was working in the IT department of a company has been arrested for deleting his former company's website and other important documents because he was fired.
The 32-year-old man, Forrest Max Bouge from Montana, committed the crime because he was
dismissed from his job at Healthy Claims LLC which is a medical billing and accounting management company in Great Falls.
According to his former boss, Bouge openly threatened to bring down the company as he left the premises.
True to his threat, hundreds of stored documents on Google Drive, were deleted and the company's website became non-existent.
The owner of the company told police that asides him, no one else had the passwords except Bouge but the passwords were changed before he was fired. Which means he hacked the drives or he access the company's computer's remotely.
The company also revealed it will cost about $2,000 to rebuild the website and restore deleted files.
Bouge who has since been arrested has been charged with unlawful use of a computer and criminal mischief which are both felonies.
