According to Tien Giang police, the 53-year-old man identified as Le Kim Khai, died of suffocation after his estranged wife squeezed his testicles for five minutes.
The incident unfolded in the woman’s home on Sunday around 10:00 p.m.
The husband who never agreed with his wife showed up at Chuon’s home, where she lives
with their two daughters. Khai knocked on the door, but his wife and two daughters refused to let him inside. He then used a handsaw to cut the lock open.
Soon as he got in, he pounced on his wife and repeatedly beat her despite desperate attempts by his daughters to stop him.
Chuong then screamed for help and grabbed her husband's testicles. She then jumped on his abdomen as he laid on the floor in pain while squeezing his testicles.
After squeezing his testicles for about five minutes, Chuong stopped. Police officers who arrived at the scene, found that Khai had already lost consciousness.
He died on the way to a hospital where an autopsy revealed that he died of suffocation as food got stuck in his windpipe during his wife's attack on his testicles.
The 55-year-old Phan Thi Kim Chuon has so far not been charged after claiming she assaulted her husband in self defense.
