Lil Wayne Says Racism No Longer Exists: Here Is His Reason....

Lil Wayne made a shocking claim in a new interview with sports channel FS1 while weighing in on footballer Colin Kaepernick’s protest.

Kaepernick had refused to stand during the
national anthem, his way of protesting against the racism in the United States.

And so, when asked to comment on the footballer’s act of protest, here’s what Wayne said of  racism in America:

“I don’t know if that’s because of my blessings, but it is my reality. So I have a, I would have to say, I — I thought it was over, I still believe it’s over. But obviously, it isn’t.”

The interviewer Skip Bayless prodded further. “So you’ve never experienced any offensive behavior from any other color or —?”

“No, sir,” said Wayne.

“Well, you are blessed,” Bayless chirped in.

Unsatisfied by this, another interviewer, Shannon Sharpe, addressed Lil Wayne:

“But you see what’s going on, even in your city, New Orleans, with, with Alton Sterling (Sterling was shot and killed in Baton Rouge). The, during Katrina, the officers that killed those and ended up in jail so we, I … I know you say you’re not paying attention to it, but you’ve seen some of the things?”

“I see what’s going on,” Wayne simply replied.

And then the conversation stretches to the rapper noting that a lot of white people attend his concerts, that he sees ‘everybody’ at his events, his reason for insisting that racism was over.

Someone should please wake Wayne up!
