Adele Tells Fans Not To Vote For Donald Trump
British singer Adele has waded a little into the US Presidential elections with a stringent call to arms for her fans to steer away from Donald Trump and into the warm embrace of Hillary Clinton.
Adele told fans emphatically, ‘Don’t vote for him’ – noting that
even though she was not an American, the US election would affect her just as much as it would affect almost everyone else on this planet.
“Don’t vote for him, that’s what I’m saying.” she told the crowd at Miami’s Airlines Arena, where she was holding a concert to celebrate her diamond certified album ’25’.
In attendance was none other than the Democratic nominee for President herself, Hillary Rodham Clinton.
“What happens in America affects [me too]” she said, according to Billboard.
“I can’t vote but I am 100 percent for Hillary Clinton. I love her.”
Luckily for Adele, it looks like her wish would come true. With the November 8 elections rapidly approaching, Clinton leads in virtually all national polls and at the moment has all but sewn up the election.
