Mariah Carey Driving Lionel Ritchie Crazy

Following her disastrous New Year’s Eve performance in Times Square, Mariah Carey is insisting on total control whenever she performs again, which is not good news for Lionel Richie and his team, with whom Carey is set to hit the road in 2017.

“Mariah is now insisting on total control of everything when she performs live. She wants HER team to run her sound, her lights and her monitors. Which would be fine but she is going on a joint tour starting in March with Lionel Richie and he isn’t going to let her
people be in charge of his tour. This is going to be a disaster,” sources tell Straight Shuter.

Carey and Richie are hitting the road together for an “All The Hits Tour.” The 35-show outing will kick off on March 15. The event is listed as “Lionel Richie and very special guest Mariah Carey,” – but it doesn’t appear that anyone has told Mariah that!
