Former US President, George W. Bush who made it through 8 years of Obama’s presidency without criticizing him seems to be having a hard time doing same for Trump.
In an interview with People to promote his new book, Bush expressed disapproval about the tense times Americans are
experiencing under the Trump administration.
He said:
“I don’t like the racism and I don’t like the name-calling and I don’t like the people feeling alienated,” Bush, 70, tells PEOPLE
He does say he feels optimistic that things will be okay eventually.
“I’m optimistic about where we’ll end up. … We’ve been through these periods before and we’ve always had a way to come out of it. I’m more optimistic than some."
