Veteran Nollywood Actor, Olumide Bakare Is Dead

The veteran Nollywood actor passed on in the early hours of Saturday after a prolonged illness.

This tragedy was confirmed by the actor’s personal assistant who reportedly was with him. Bakare had fallen ill over a year ago, and some of the illnesses he suffered included a lung-
related disease and low blood pressure.

Actor, Saidi Balogun also confirmed the passing to pressmen.

“Yes, it is true Olumide Bakare is dead. He died on his way to his hospital. When I called his number, his personal assistant picked his phone and told me he was dead. That’s how much I can say for now,” he said.
