25-Year-Old Man Dumped In A Refuse Heap By His Uncle Dies {See Photo}

A 25- year- old man by name Danjuma, reportedly spent over 30 days on a refuse heap in Edo State before his death.

Sadly, he died in the street in front of his uncle’s house where he was dumped again allegedly by
officials of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.

According to sources, Danjuma fought to stay alive during the many days he spent on a refuse heap despite heavy rain and scorching sun he had to battle with for five days before he eventually passed on.

According to reports, Danjuma was dumped on the refuse heap by his uncle, Mr. Arase, but was rescued by some well spirited individuals and taken to the Faith Medical Centre where he was treated.

His mother was a former staff of Nigeria Telecommunication, while his father has not been seen for many years.

He was born a paraphelgic and his mother’s siblings started maltreating him after the money left by his mother was squandered.

The former Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development in the state, Mrs. Florence Igbinigie, who took him to the hospital,l said Danjuma has fully recovered when he was discharged from the hospital.

Igbinigie said she took Danjuma to the Ministry of Women Affairs where she left him and all efforts to locate where he was taken to proved abortive.

According to the former commissioner, she was taken aback when Danjuma resurfaced on the street

“Doctors treated him well and gave him appropriate medical attention. Everybody saw Danjuma looking very well. Unfortunately I don’t know what happened. I took him to the ministry and they told me to wait for the commissioner. They did not call me again only for the SSG to call that I dumped an adult cripple at the ministry. The boy had no problem apart from the physically disabilities.

“The ministry was aware of his condition and a director told me they want to rehabilitate him. So I took him there. Nobody told me where they took Danjuma to and the commissioner refused to see me. I don’t know who brought him here. I was surprised to see the boy on the floor here.
