Nigeria and Villareal forward Ikechukwu Uche has made it known that Head Coach’s Stephen Keshi’s recent claims about him were wrong and he never demanded for any apology.
Keshi had yesterday said that the forward was reluctant to feature for the Eagles because he is
demanding an apology from the Head Coach before honoring an invitation to play for the Super Eagles.
According to Keshi:
“He was supposed to be part of the team that is presently in camp but he said we must beg him first to play for Nigeria because he was left out of some competitions but I can’t beg anyone to play for Nigeria, impossible. That’s why he is not here”.
Ike Uche has however on the contrary stated that he did not demand any apology and would gladly represent the Eagles anytime he is called up.
