Man Drives Himself Into A River To Solve A Car Argument With His Wife

A 50 year old man in Philadelphia has gone to extreme, by driving his soon-to-be ex-wife's car into a river. John Kramer, reportedly took the action after months of in-fighting and disagreement in his family. He had wanted to swap a 1990 Corvette which he later ditched (pictured above) - one of five cars owned by him and his wife - for a minivan.

After three months of pleading with his wife so he could swap the cars and she still refused, the red sports car found itself swimming in the Delaware River.

Kramer told FOX 29, “I didn't want to put the car in the river, but everybody's fighting over this damn car that I paid $3,600 for two years ago,”  "I wanted the van, OK. "I've been begging my wife for over three months to just give me the van. I wanted my minivan back.” Kramer and his unnamed
wife are not allowed to contact each other after she had protection from abuse filed against him.

Despite this, his wife says he wanted to come and retrieve the car - and tried to contact her on the day of the sinking.

He is now on the run, evading harassment charges. His wife said he texted her daughter and told her she had two minutes to sort it out - later he sent a message saying: 'It’s done LOL.' The woman said she was worried Kramer might harm her and their two teenage daughters.
