According to reports by Daily Independent, a Lagos politician and managing director of Lagos-based travel agency, Aeroland Travels, Segun Adewale popularly known as Aeroland, has been duped of N500,000 by a supposed "Tiwa Savage".
Adewale, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate for Lagos West in the forthcoming 2015 election reportedly lost half a million Naira to someone posing as Tiwa Savage. Having declared his intention to run for
Senate in 2015 again and obtaining his party’s nomination form in November 2014, Segun Adewale reportedly contacted the fake ‘Tiwa Savage’ to perform at his political declaration party.
Adewale was however disappointed when the Tiwa did not show up at the event. Presently, the politician is counting on the financial institution through which the money was paid to help get whatever is left of the amount paid.
