Man Takes Dead Mother To Bank To Withdraw Cash From Her Account
One David Vanzo has been arrested on charges of elderly neglect after he allegedly took his dead mother to a bank to make a cash withdrawal from her account.
According to Plymouth Police, they arrested David Vanzo, after employees at the bank said that his 90-year-old mother seemed dead while being pushed in her wheelchair. Bank employees
of Wells Fargo, also said that the woman’s feet were dragging underneath the wheelchair, but could not tell if she was breathing.
Vanzo withdrew $850 on behalf of his mother and left. Police said when they visited the house, they found the woman in bed wearing a robe and a fur coat. Her boots were also said to be covered in human waste.
Vanzo was arrested on charges of elderly neglect, but denied the allegations, saying that he was a good son who always took care of his mother.
Carryl Vanzo died a few days before turning 91.
