A woman has been arrested, charged and convicted of assault after ripping her boyfriend’s private parts because he wanted to end their relationship, prosecutors in Indiana said.
46-year-old Christina Lorena Reber of Muncie, has been sentenced to 4 years behind bars.
Reber was found guilty of battery causing serious bodily injury for inflicting an extraordinarily
heinous injury that has changed the life of the victim, prosecutors said.
The 59-year-old victim testified at trial that after Reber attacked him, he asked her to call an ambulance, but she walked out the door and left him bleeding.
He needed stitches and reconstructive surgery to repair his private parts. He also said that he still feels recurrent pain. Reber told the judge that she was deeply saddened by the situation, and she apologized to her boyfriend, saying that she hopes that he can move on with his life.
The judge said the Reber’s apology was not completely sincere, and sentenced her to 4 years behind bars.
