'Parents' Caught On CCTV Assisting Their Boy To Steal Phones In Lagos

A video showing two adults distracting a salesman while one of their children stole two cellphones from a counter has been uploaded by a cellphone store in Computer Village, Ikeja.

The parents, who came to the store with two children, were talking to the salesman at the checkout counter while one of the children moved away from the group. Another camera angle
shows the child running between some shelves before pocketing two electronic devices, which appear to be smartphones.


The child then returned to his parents and pulled the dress of the woman to get her attention. The woman ended her conversation with the salesman almost immediately and turned to leave the store with a smile on her face as she walked to the door, and the rest of the family followed.

The Police are currently looking for the couple, but so far, no arrests have been made.
