Drycleaner In Court For Stealing Clothes Worth N1.7m

Olugbemi Oruwole, 38, was on Wednesday arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrate’s Court sitting in Lagos for allegedly stealing 109 pieces of clothes valued at N1.7 million from a customer.

Police Prosecutor, Insp. Okete Ejime, who testified against the drycleaner in court said Oruwole committed the offence in August 2014 at Block E9, Plot 7, Otunba Steve Ajose Drive, Ilasan area of
Lekki in Lagos.

Oruwole however pleaded not guilty to the charge and asked for bail through his counsel.

Magistrate, A. A. Adefulire, consequently granted Oruwole bail in the sum of N500, 000 with two sureties in like sum.
