Breaking: Power Outage Paralyzes House Of Reps Plenary

Just as an unstable power supply is crippling our economy it also crippled the Plenary of the Federal House of Representatives! This reportedly forced the house to temporarily suspend plenary on Tuesday due to power outage that lasted over 30minutes.

Almost immediately after power was restored, all the air-conditioners installed in the Green Chamber suddenly stopped functioning. However, the presiding officer, Emeka Ihedioha tried to crack jokes to
calm down the lawmakers, repeatedly reminding them that they are patriotic Nigerians that they can work without air-conditioners.

However, about 20minutes after, the proceedings had to be suspended, obviously due to the outage and breakdown of facilities.
