See Why Lauryn Hill Will Not Perform At May Day Live concert Tonight

Ooops! Grammy award winner, Lauryn Hill will not be performing at the May Day Live concert holding tonight at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

An official statement from the singer, who was billed to perform with a host of Nigerian stars  tonight, blamed the event promoters for the disappointment as they were unable to provide all travel arrangements for her to come down to Nigeria.

The statement reads:

‘We are disappointed to report that we will not be performing at tonight’s concert. From our
end, we did everything we were supposed to do, including waiting at the airport for many hours, ready to fly out and share the evening with you. Unfortunately, after much effort, the promoter was not able to get all of our travel arrangements taken care of.’

This is indeed a massive disappointment as the show had been advertised as one of the biggest events of the year.
