BREAKING: Appeal Court Rules Against Saraki’s Arrest

On Friday the tribunal issued the warrant for Saraki’s arrest following his failure to honour its invitation. Chairman of the Tribunal, Justice Danladi Umar, had directed the Inspector General of
Police, Solomon Arase, to effect the arrest of Saraki and produce him before the Tribunal on Monday.

But the story has changed now as the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT’s proposed arrest of the Senate President was on Monday morning stopped by the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja.
