Crazy! Man Buys Military Armored Tank Online For Personal Use, Then....[Photo]

Isn't it totally weird that individual wants to own a military tank? A man identified as Jeff Woolmer has been forced to move out of his two bed flat after he bought a seven tonne TANK.

Mr Woolmer paid £9,000 for the huge ex-Canadian military machine from a specialist auction site.

He told the BBC:

"I'd forgotten all about it and then at work I had a call saying 'Hello sir you've just bought a tank'."

"I had a bid on one and then I had a phone call at work and of course everyone in the office was laughing at me."

"I was living in a flat at the time so we had to have a look around for a house with a nice bit of space to park the tank on the drive."

When operational, the CVRT Scorpion light tank has a top speed of 50mph and has a 75mm cannon - which has been disarmed. The military machine is now parked proudly on his drive in Bradley Stoke. His surprised neighbours have now dubbed him the 'Tank Man'.
