Man Bags 6 Months Imprisonment For Stealing Techno Phone

A young man identified as Yusufu Waheed has been sentenced to six- month imprisonment for stealing a Techno phone valued at N10, 000.

Waheed was arraigned by police from Akinpelu Division before Chief Magistrate (Mrs.) Y.N. Pinheiro of an Ogba Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Ikeja.

According to police prosecutor, Inspector Uche Simon, the defendant was arrested at 5:00am on Monday at Oshodi for stealing one Techno phone valued at N10,000, the property of one Odgenimah Frances. 

Simon said the convict had jumped through the window into the room of his victim and stole the phone. The convict was however nabbed by members of the vigilante group and handed over to the police.
