Fetty Wap Beats Drake And Taylor Swift To Top MTV’s Best Artists Of 2015 List

MTV creates best of lists at the end of every year, as their staff tries to coalesce everything that happened within the year into a list of ten.

This year, they made lists of best artist, best songs, best movies, and best social media stars of the year. Fans are also being given the opportunity to create their own such lists.

For the best artiste list of 2015, breakout star of the year Fetty Wap was given top spot. His first huge hit Trap Queen has just scored a Grammy nomination, and Wap’s record as the only artist whose first four songs all the cracked the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 deservedly landed him the spot ahead of established heavyweights like Adele, Drake and Taylor Swift.
