UPDATE ON PSQUARE: Court Sherrifs Seize Properties From Their Home

There were several reports earlier today that the police was called to the home of Nigerian singing duo Psquare over an angry man who wanted to arrest Peter and Paul because they refused to perform after getting paid for it.

Well, according to new reports, the supposed police officers were actually Lagos High court Sheriffs.

The court Sheriffs went to the home of Psquare at about 5.30am this morning with a court order to seize properties following a judgement against them.

When the guards at P-Square's home refused them entry, alleging the brothers were not home, they forced their way in, injuring one guard in the process.

About 9 years ago, Psquare were meant to perform at a show in Benin and were paid N1 million for it. They arrived Benin for the show only to be told that the show had been postponed to the next day.

P-Square became furious and left Benin the same day, refusing to stay till the next day to perform. The organiser of the show reportedly demanded for his money back but was never refunded, this prompted him to take the singing duo to court.

The case had been in court since then, but Psquare were apparently not informed about it. The case was judged in the favour of the plaintiff yesterday, hence the court Sheriffs going to the PSquare mansion today to seize properties.
