Woman Swallows $7000 In Order To Keep It Away From Husband

A woman allegedly swallowed $7000 in order to keep the money from her husband.

The Doctors have surgically removed 57 pieces of $100 notes from the stomach and intestines of a 30-year-old Colombian woman who had swallowed the money in a desperate bid to hide it from her husband during a domestic spat.

The rest of the bills were passed through her colon.

The woman swallowed the money, according to surgeons who removed the money from her body.

The Colombian woman told the local RCN television channelthat she had saved up the money for a holiday with her husband after having sold several electrical household items.

Doctors said they were able to surgically extract 57 pieces of $100 bills from the woman’s stomach and intestines.

Director of Surgery at the University Hospital of Santander, Juan Paulo Serrano, said the majority of the bills were extracted through a gastronomy through the stomach.

Additional rolls would be passed through the colon, he added.
