TMZ reports that the actress testified in a Santa Monica courtroom Thursday, recounting claims of how the singer had threatened her after they broke up over some of the gifts he got her, including diamond rings.
To back her claims, two voicemails the singer left her were played during the hearing, and
Brown was clearly heard cussing and making threats. Threat messages he also sent her were examined in which the singer explicitly threatened her with violence.
The actress said he had hit her before in the past and is afraid he would hurt her again. She added that she sold the rings he gave her because she wanted to keep him off her back, but that did not help at all.
Chris Brown was not present at the hearing yesterday and the judge did not allow him to call in.
Karrueche Tran was granted temporary restraining order against the singer in February after she told a judge that he “threatened to kill me to others, threatened me via text messages and threatened to harass my friends.”
Chris Brown dismissed the earlier allegations as “evil”. Well, the judge doesn’t think so this time.
