Man Who Stole Actress Frances McDormand’s Oscar Boasts About it on Facebook Live

A creepy man who stole Frances McDormand’s Oscar for Best Actress went on Facebook Live to boast about it before he was eventually caught.According to Verge, Terry Bryant, 47, was arrested on grand theft charges after he snatched McDormand’s Oscar from her table at the Governor’s Ball. He posted a Facebook Live video which
shows him holding the trophy, kissing it and bragging that it was his own.

“Got this tonight! This is mine. We got it tonight, baby!” said Terry in the video. He even allowed people around him to touch the trophy, offered to take photos with them, and told them that he won the Oscar for ‘Music’.

At a point, he is seen yelling, “Where’s the Jimmy Kimmel party at?” and someone replied, “That’s your ticket to any party you want to go to!”

Luckily, Terry was stopped by Wolfgang Puck’s photographer who took the trophy from him. Terry was then arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department on grand theft charges.
