Twitter Announces Data Breach, Encourages Password Change

Micro-blogging site, Twitter has evealed that it experienced a technical glitch that revealed private data of its users.

The social media platform shared details of the breach on their handle and also sent messages to their
users encouraging them to change their passwords.

It wrote:
“We recently found a bug that stored passwords unmasked in an internal log. We fixed the bug and have no indication of a breach or misuse by anyone. As a precaution, consider changing your password on all services where you’ve used this password.”
