Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Set For Release To Kick iPhone 6 Out Of Market??

It seems like the Galaxy Note 4 could launch a little earlier than expected in order to combat the positive reaction that the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus has had in recent weeks. The Galaxy Note 4 was always due to launch towards the end of September, but it appears that the device could now launch a little earlier, with a date of September 26th now reported by Korean media. While it seems like Samsung is feeling the pressure from Apple and the new iPhone 6 release, we can’t imagine the firm having to make too many changes to the way they do business.

However, it would appear that in at list South Korea, the device is to launch earlier than expected. With pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 4 already sold out in the country, it’s no surprise that a general release of the device has now been moved forward to September 26th. Korea Times has quoted a Samsung official as saying that “the positive reaction from consumers to those two Apple devices prompted us to
launch the Note 4 earlier than previously scheduled” and while the Galaxy Note 4 is arguably a device that offers users more features than the iPhone 6 Plus, it’s hard to deny the positive performance of the iPhone 6 so far.

With the Galaxy Note 4 also being a decent amount cheaper than previous Galaxy Note models, is Samsung feeling the pressure? No doubt the mobile industry is heading for saturation, with so many devices having launched this year that didn’t really offer too much different from last year, it seems that everyone is having to adjust to the new landscape. Samsung has already experienced roughly a 25% drop in their profits earlier this year and there’s word this is to continue as we close out 2014.
