A woman was arrested on charges of theft after allegedly stealing underwear from her neighbor’s home.
According to Delta State Police command, they arrested the 42-year-old woman along with two others for stealing property from their neighbors while the victims were out of town for work. The three suspects of Asaba, were arrested on Sunday night.
The latest victim called police on Sunday, to report that upon returning home from work, she realized that two pairs of underwear were missing.
Police arrested the three suspects after local community leaders said that they
suspect them of stealing from homes during the day when the homeowners are at work.
After they were questioned, the suspects confessed to the crimes. Some neighbors also complained of meat missing from pots of soup.
The suspects are currently facing charges of theft.
