An unidentified helicopter is reported to have plunged into the lagoon behind Oworonsoki Police Station.
An eyewitness says the helicopter made a loud noise before nose-diving into the Third Mainland Bridge area in Lagos on Wednesday. August 12.
According to reports, the police and officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) have begun rescue operations at the scene of the crash.
