According to report, The request was made to Justice Gabriel Kolawole of the Federal High Court in Abuja, after Okah tried to commit suicide by jumping through the window from the second floor of the building during the court’s last session.
An oral application had been made by the prosecution, Alex Iziyon, with the defense, Samuel Ozidiri apologizing on behalf of his client and asking the court not to use chains.
Justice Kolawole however turned down the application, saying Ozidiri had apologised on behalf of his client, and that the chains would cause a distraction to the process.
